01/07/2008 - Codevio develop sample code for Media Centre

Microsoft contracted Codevio to create a fully working sample application for their latest edition of Media Centre, along with a suite of White Papers explaining the application, and the development process.

The application implemented a 'video marquee', where multiple video streams were displayed on screen simultaneously, and the user could navigate from stream to stream to choose the channel they wanted to watch.

03/01/2008 - Codevio contracted to add HD support to STB

Codevio engineers were brought in to a hospitality company to help add HD support to their product offering.

Help was required on 2 fronts, firstly updating the Flash based user interface to improve the HD user experience, and secondly adding HD video playback capabilities to the set top box.

25/08/2007 - Codevio developing HDTV IPTV support for client

Codevio engineers worked closely with a client to add HDTV support to an existing IPTV system used to provide TV feeds to desks in large corporate office environments.

23/07/2007 - Codevio hired for bespoke VLC development

Codevio was contracted to work with a leading hardware company to add support to VLC for an h.264 hardware decode chipset.
